Running our server does come with its costs, especially when it comes to hardware. We're committed to providing you with the best experience, which means regular hardware maintenance and upgrades.

Request TV/Movie

You'll need to sign in via your account to request. We're part of a few different communities to obtain the requested media. It's entirely automated. Sometimes lesser known shows/movies are not shared so they are not downloaded. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about that.

Please note we do not add download that are currently in theaters. The quality of those are usually terrible. You can request them, but it won't be downloaded until it's released digitally. Just add them for now so it will automatically download when it becomes available.

For EACH user requests are limited to 2 movies per 7 days and 1 season per 7 days. This is to keep storage and downloading managable.

Social Channels

We have two social channels. Discord and Facebook Groups. Facebook is where most of the discussion occurs. However, Discord has more notifications regarding the status of the server. You're welcome to join them but they are not required.

Both channels require approval from the admins. Send the request and we'll get to it.

Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance is run between 5:00AM and 6:00AM Eastern Time (GMT-5) for backups and optimizations. You may experience downtime during these hours.

If you're seeing a spinning wheel, try other browsers or a desktop browser. We recommend using Chrome on your desktop computer.

Please see the first section of this site. You'll see a notice about it being down. If it's down, we already know and will work on getting it up.

First check that you're in the server by clicking on EDIT in the sidebar. If you have access, you should see Arsia Mons be able to hover over Movies and TV. Click on the dots and Pin it to the sidebar. If you don't see Arsia Mons anywhere there, reach out to us.

First check above if the server is online. If so, it's likely the result of the device you're using not having support for the video file. You'll need to purchase a modern streaming device.

We recommend an Apple TV or Roku. Other devices like from your Smart TV will work, but they are often slow and may not support all video formats.

Yes. You'll need to Google a how-to but it's easy. You essentially email the book to yourself. You can download the book/comic on Kavita and from there send it to your device.

It really depends on the popularity of the movie/tv show. We're part of a bunch of different communities though. Popular and newly released are going to be added within a few hours. There's no guarantee though that anything requested will get added.

The minimum resolution is 720p and max is 1080p. We pretty much avoid 4k resolution as the bandwidth is too high and not everyone has 4k TV's. Video codecs are in h264 and a few in hevc. In the future we'll be re-encoding to h265. Nearly all the files are in mkv containers. Audio is typically preferred in dts or aac.

We do, but it's not managed nor are we taking requests for this library. Feel free to listen though. They are all in very high-quality FLAC files.

Equipment

For those that are interested, here's what we're running. We'll add more details here in the future.

  1. QNAP TVS-h874-i5-32G-US 8 Bay
    This is the server itself. 6 bays are currently in use. The device lives at Mike's house.
  2. WD 18TB WD181KFGX Red Pro
    We currently have 6 18TB drives. We have room for two more and hope to add the additional drives in the future.

Books/Comics Server

There's a server for books and comics. They are on a separate platform called Kavita that we self-host. It has a built-in Epub reader. If reading on your phone or tablet, you can save the site into your homescreen.
